Auto Body Express is a family owned and operated small business located in San Leandro, California. Going back three generations rooted in the automotive industry, Auto Body Express has established itself as a leader in the bay area's auto collision repair industry.Owner Michael Shane Leasure (Shane), grew up in Castro Valley and discovered his fascination for custom vehicles at a very young age. That fascination grew into a passion, and by 15, he was already a budding artist doing custom paint jobs.
Continuing to perfect his skills, Shane worked for the industry leading Arlen Ness Motorcycles. The experience instilled in him a hard work ethic and determnation for excellence. It would be just a short time later that he incorporated his lifetime of knowledge to run his own successful auto body and custom paint business.
As an avid fan of the industry itself, Shane has had the opportunity to be asked to judge several prominent area car shows, including the Grand National Roadster Show, Sacramento Autorama, and the San Francisco Rod and Custom Show.
